DVD Shrinker is a fast tool to convert your double-layer DVDs to video files of high quality smaller than you can burn to a DVD recordable single layer disc. You can reduce the entire DVD or just the main movie, and customize output files to mount the 2.5 or a 4 Gb.
7 Gb disc. This effective software uses open source Shrink TO5 DLL for high-quality results.
Once unprotected DVD is selected (this tool does not play VIDEO_TS files from a hard drive), DVD shrinker will give you an estimate of the space required to reduce either the entire disc or just the movie. When "All the DVD" is selected, the program will make an exact replica of the original structure of the DVD, including all menus, languages, subtitles, extras, chapters, etc., preserving all the navigability of the original disc. When "Movie Only" is selected, then you have the option to include all available languages for the film or just one of them.
DVD Shrinker has no burning capabilities. It creates a VIDEO_TS folder that you can then use with your favorite burning software to create a backup copy of DVD-R. When the entire conversion process is finished, you are offered the opportunity to create an ISO file that will replace the video folder.
